Subconscious Artefacts is an ongoing art piece that delves into the depths of the subconscious mind and the process of creation.

Over 1,5 years the artist Vito Boox embarked on a daily meditation ritual, followed by sketching the first thing that came to mind upon waking up.

A selection of sketches was then later digitally and physically developed, resulting in a collection of artworks characterized by their unintentional creation and yet subtle familiarity between them.

The project raises intriguing questions about the origin of creativity. Does the artist draw solely from within themselves, or are they acting as a conduit for ideas and information from a broader collective consciousness? Throughout history, iconic ideas have emerged simultaneously across the world, further emphasizing this interconnectedness.

Subconscious Artefacts invites viewers to explore the depths of their own subconscious minds and contemplate the nature of artistic creation.
